It explores a unique and different way to make the pilgrimage to Santiago through a sailing itinerary, following the same route that the Apostle James once traveled. The Camino Marítimo to Santiago de la Ría de Muros-Noia is a new officially recognized route to get to La Compostela, exploring the picturesque sea corners of the Rías Baixas. The basic requirement is to complete the journey with a minimum of 90 nautical miles, sealing the pilgrim's credential at the ports indicated by the route with a minimum of two seals per day. Finally, to complete the Camino, you must walk the last 12 km from the village of Bertamiráns to Santiago de Compostela, following the last section of the Camino Portugués.

The activity of the Camino Marítimo to Santiago takes place in 4 days (3 days on board the sailboat and 1 day walking 12 km from Bertamiráns to Santiago), exploring the Rías de Vigo, Pontevedra, Arousa, and that of Muros and Noia.

The port of departure is Baiona, and the port of arrival is Portosín.

**Day 1 of NavigationOther
At 12.00 o'clock, we start the Camino by sail from Baiona to the Cíes Islands (National Land Marine Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia). We have lunch anchored in this unique paradise, where you can go down to explore the islands and walk their trails and sands. We sail at sunset to dock at the village of Sanxenxo and in the evening, we dock at the village of Portonovo to spend the night. Dinner is free.

**Day 2 of SailingOther
We set off for the Ría de Arousa, stopping for lunch and enjoying a unique islet, the Xidoiro Areoso Islet. In the afternoon, we arrive at the fishing village of Ribeira. Dinner is free.

**Day 3 of SailingOther
This is our longest day of sailing, with stretches in open seas. We leave behind the Ría de Arousa, pass through the Sagres pass between Ribeira and the island of Sálvora to enter the Ría de Muros and Noia. Stop at noon in the beautiful town of Muros and, weather permitting, in San Francisco Bay, before arriving at our last port of call, Portosín. Dinner is free.

**Day of landing and walkOther
We disembark, and a taxi takes us from Portosín to Bertamiráns to walk the last 12 km, mandatory to get our Compostela and reach Santiago de Compostela by the last section of the Portuguese Way. For the more adventurous (optional), you can walk the 45 km from Portosín to Santiago de Compostela following an unmarked path, for which a track will be provided for follow-up. It passes through several municipalities, including: Ames, Brion, Lousame, Muros, Noia, Porto do Son, Outes, Rois and Santiago.

Information of interest:

- Marinas, restaurants and marinas are places where you can seal the pilgrim's credential.
- The accommodation on board is in a shared double cabin. The ship's own cabin serves as a hostel in each mooring port for overnight stay. You can also choose other accommodation in the various ports where we stop.
- Each sailboat can accommodate a maximum of 6 or 8 people, depending on the available sailboat, plus the master or guide.
- You can also rent your sailboat exclusively and make the crossing your way on the date that suits you best; check the price and availability of the boat, with all the route and indications provided, you can even manage the boat if you have the necessary qualification.
- The route may be modified due to weather conditions.
- You can make your own purchases, as the ships have a kitchen, dining room, oven and refrigerator that you can use.
